Active FX: Q&A

Total FX on Someone with Active Acne?

I'm 25, still have active acne with VERY oily skin and have mild pitting on my cheeks and the rest of my acne scars are on my forehead, chin, and around my nose and mouth that have left me with an extremely bumpy skin texture. A plastic surgeon told me my best bet is the Total FX (Active FX and Deep FX). Is it safe to use on skin that has active acne? Will the temporary damage that the laser causes, block off my oil glands and make my acne worse? Also, what percentage of improvement will I get from the treatment?
