Topical DHEA - Does It Help the Skin Retain Fat and Moisture?

I'm curious what your opinion is about DHEA, a precursor to many hormones, including estrogen, progesterone, etc. What do you think about topical DHEA? Would it help the skin retain fat and moisture under the surface?
What about 7-keto DHEA or topical estrogens like Estrone cream?
