I had silicon 1000 injections earlier this year & I'm interested in a bbl. I haven't had complications but I am wondering if I am still a candidate? Should I remove the silicone & then replace it with the fat or would it be better to just add the fat in the problem places? I know that I would benefit from the lipo alone but I am still lacking some volume & projection and would like to correct those issues w/out having to go the same route. Any advice quotes etc etc would be appreciated.
Answer: BBL in a patient with silicone injection? Currently there is no existing filler that is safe to use in your buttocks to enhance size except your own fat. I'm not sure what plastic surgeon would take on this risk. You would need to have it removed. Best of luck.

Answer: Butt shots There is no filler existing that is safe to use in large volume, besides your own fat. What you just have done to yourself is very risky and sadly to say, there is no way to get it removed without the risk of ending deformed. You will need a CT scan to determine the location of the filler and avoid those areas during the fat grafting. But, again, sadly to say, the majority of the times that thing is all over the tissues and impossible to make a fat a transference safely. Dr. Cardenas

Answer: Liquid silicone buttocks injections Hello Sexyryder, Thank you for your question. As for your question, I can answer that was unfortunate the fact you have this substance injected into your buttocks. Biopolymers (liquid silicone, Poly Acrylamide Gel, PMMA, Macrolane, etc), ALWAYS should be removed, because you present at any time iatrogenic allogenosis and probably A.S.I.A. syndrome. I developed the technique of resection of biopolymers in buttocks and lower back through video – endoscopy, a surgery made with minnimal incissions. Other techniques such as liposuction , VASER, LASER or are absolutely ineffective in treating this type of situation. The reconstructive surgery is performed first to remove the biopolymers. Liposuction is performed two or three months after and the aspirated fat injected on the buttocks (BBL) is performed. You could make lipoaspiration first but you will loose that fat and you would not have this option available to rebuild your buttocks later. I hope it has been helpful.
