Tissue Adhesives to Prevent Scarring After Surgery?

Would the newer tissue adhesives used for wound closure have any impact on reducing the incidence of both hypertrophic scarring and keloid formation following a plastic procedure?

No

There no reduction of the scar formation with use of the adhesives. The best thing for reduction of the scar is good wound closure and minimal tension. Keloid formation is a genetic and would require injections after surgery.
