It has been nearly three weeks since I had tip rhinoplasty, the tip is still very hard and swollen. I am wondering, as the tip continues healing and softening, is the tip more likey to lower or rise? Thank you

Tip Rhinoplasty Healing Process- Will It Keep Changing?
It's not unusual to have have residual swelling after a Rhinoplasty or Tip-plasty that lasts for several months or longer. Give it a few more months to see more realistic results, IMHO.

Tip swelling
Hard to say without knowing exactly what was done regarding tip position. Definitely it will continue to soften and become more pliable and refined over time. full healing could take up to a year.

Healing after tip rhinoplasty
It will take several months for the tip to fully soften, and you will notice a slimming effect and improvement of the tip definition. Generally the tip will drop a bit the first few weeks, not the opposite, and remain stable the rest of the healing course.
Best of luck,

Tip swelling post rhinoplasty
Wqithout an examination it is iimpossible to tell exactly, but rhinoplasty results are not seen for at least 8-12 months and sometimes longer. stay in touch with your surgeon, who can help you monitor your progress.

Healing After Rhinoplasty and the Nasal Tip
The swelling present in your nasal tip will take a year or longer to resolve fully. Therefore, at 3 weeks the swelling and firm sensation in your nasal tip are entirely normal. Generally speaking the nasal tip position will be higher in the immediate perioperative phase and will generally come down to some degree. However, this all depends on what was and what wasn't done at the time of your surgery.

Tip rhinoplasty: up or down?
Tip swelling is directly related to the kind of procedure performed, and the steps involved:
Open rhinoplasty usually has more tip swelling
Reductive tip corrections swell more than smaller refinements
If the tip was pointing down and it was corrected, its true position (up) will show completely after a few (at least 6) months.
After a corrective tip procedure for poor tip support, during its healing phases, the tip will initially rise (first 6-12 weeks) and then...
