How Many Times Can a Revision Tummy Tuck Be Done?

Number of surgical revisions
Technically, there is no specific limit to the number of revisions you can do. The result can only go so far however and may even start to get worse with further surgery so you need to carefully determine what your expectations are and not go through further revisions if they aren't going to get the result up to your level of expectation.
Tummy Tuck and abdominoplasty Revision
The need for revision after tummy Tuck is very RARE.
These are the possibilities of revision after Tummy Tuck;
Revision of Tummy Tuck;
- usually not needed.
- It is done if the patient becomes pregnant after the surgery and has excess laxity of tissues.
- Significant weight loss
Revision of Scars or contour after Tummy Tuck
- Rarely may be indicated if the patient has poorly healed scar.
- Revision of liposuction of the flank may rarely be indicated.
Hope this helped.
Tummy tuck Revision
This is a very difficult question to answer without examining you. Also, do you means full tummy tuck revision, partial tummy tuck revision or scar revision. Usually most people benefit from scar revision and some further tightening. This depends on how much skin laxity you have remaining.

Indiications and reasons for revision tummy tuck
Generally, it should not have to be repeated. That having been said, I have had to repeat it on 3 patients that unintentionally became pregnant after the original tummy tuck. Occasionally, I have performed revisions on primary tummy tucks especially after major weight loss when the skin elasticity results in recurrent laxity despite being taut at the conclusion of the procedure. IF you need to perform this more than that, I think it sends a message that the correct procedure was not done initially or the patient has unrealistic expectations or is not doing their fair share to maintain the result.
Repeated or Revision Tummy Tuck
Regarding: " How many times can a revision tummytuck be done? How many times can a revision tt be done after the original ttuck was performed"
Without an examination much less a photograph it is impossible to answer this question as it may apply to you.
There is NO set of allowable Tummy Tuck revision procedures. Since all forms of Tummy Tuck involve skin removal, a revision tummy tuck would be hard to perform IF more skin had to be removed or belly button had to be moved. The most common potential scenarios for a Tummy Tuck revision may be in women who had a Tummy Tuck and then unexpectedly became pregnant or those who had the operation and then sustained a significant weight loss. In both cases more loose skin was generated. In the first scenario, the muscle repair was disrupted by the pregnancy.
The ability to improve on your present Tummy Tuck result with another Tummy Tuck would depend on your physical examination and on WHY the revision is asked for. It may not be possible.
