I read from Dr Oz's website that the best time to apply L-ascorbic acid is at night but Skinceutical's CE Ferulic Acid states to apply it during the daytime. Which is which? This is a pretty expensive product so I want to maximize its purpose.

Daytime!!
This product is an excellent antioxidant. Antioxidants need to be used in the daytime to augment the protection of sunscreens against free radicals. At night, there is no sun, no environmental pollutants and your respiration rate is lower. All these facts mean you have to complex fewer free radicals. CE Ferulic at night is a waste.
