In 08 got cheek implants (orally) but took out. Since removal in 09 have stiffness in upper lip & widening mouth feels tight. Incisions extend below nose, and very thick scar tissue along incision line (non-dissolvable stitches used). Pressing hard across incision in gums with finger, the tightness disappears then comes back secs later.Infraorbital nerves not been severed. You think scar tissue causing problems? If nerves damaged but not severed, do I have chance of going back to normal? Thanks.

Stiffness of Upper Lip after Cheek Implant Removal

Your infraorbital nerve has not been damaged because sensation is intact. Although very unusual, it does sound like excessive scar tissue has formed. Schedule a consultation for evaluation and treatment.
