Compression garments work well when just snug

Compression garments do not work well if there is no compression, but if they are too tight, then the pressure is not uniform. I usually recommend two sizes for patients to get, one for right after surgery when there is swelling and a smaller size for when swelling goes down.

Compression garments after liposculpture work best when snug but now when constricting

Compression garments after liposculpture work best when snug but not when constricting. The effect of the compression is mostly related to keeping tissue warm while healing.

Compression garment

A compression garment should be snug but not constricting.  Speak with your doctor about his protocol and length of time the garment should be worn.
