I go in on Tuesday to have the permanent crown bonded and I am not sure if I should wait? The thing that is puzzling is that my pain comes and goes sometimes with no explanation at all. If I tap on the tooth it is fine but I have this throbbing ache in my jaw daily since the prep was done. I don't notice any real problems with cold sensitivity. I can drink a cold drink with a straw no problem. If I eat like a cold salad I am not sensitive to it but right after it will trigger the throbbing pain.
