Thinned, Damaged Skin - Options?

Several years ago I went threw an obsessive compulsive phase in which I applies various creams, lasers (Dermawand), etc. I applied cortisone as well as other skin bleaching creams to to my face. My skin is now very thin, stretchy and dry and my the plumpness around my eyes has diminished, leaving a hollow appearance. Is there anything that can address this problem? Anything to thicken the skin? What is the status of stem cells being used to repair damaged skin? Thank you.

I too have had this happen. I didn't use a lot exfoliants willingly but come to find out they were in small amounts of some of the products I used. It is hollowed around my eyes also. I also used vitamin e capsules to rehydrate skin and it looked even thinner afterwards. I haven't found very much data in the Internet to support my claim of this but I am sure 100% how it looked afterwards. No dermatologists can tell me this can happen with vitamin e. I don't know of too many things to help thicken it back up except to be patient and let it thicken on its own. I know, it stinks but I hope this helps.
