Thick oily skin of the nose
Some people have very thick pilosebaceous skin of the nose. The pores are dense and the oil glands very thick. Accutane can shrink the pores but there are risks and it is not indicated for anything other than scarring cystic acne. Sculpting a thinner nose with carbon dioxide laser, radiofrequency (Ellman) and dermabarasion all have risks of scarring, hypopigmenation and irregular surface contour.
