Any harm to eyes while having Thermage as long as the doctor puts the eye protectors on?
Can Thermage Damage Eyes?
Doctor Answers (1)
Thermage® Eye procedure is safe with use of eye shields.
Absolutely not. Thermage for the eyes has been done for many years and there is absolutely no risk of eye damage with this treatment. It is very important that the treatment is done under the supervision of a physician and with an experienced technician to ensure the eye shield is the correct size and properly inserted. The radiofrequency energy is very shallow for the eye treatment but what is most important to look out for is ensuring they use proper sterilization technique for the eye shields between each patient.
