Why Are Doctor Opinions About Thermage So Divided?
I'm in a situation after botched buttock + hip Smartlipo and I'm looking for a non-surgical way of fixing my problem.
Do u think Thermage could help in this situation, and is there any risk of it making my situation worse or even leaving me disfigured? Every surgeon I speak to advises me to stay away from Thermage, as it is a waste of money and doesn't work. So I don't know who or what to believe.
Why are opinions about Thermage so divided? Does it work or not?

Thermage can be very effective, but not for you.

Hi. From your description, you have a complicated problem that will be difficult to fix even with surgery. Thermage will certainly not do it.
There are two reasons why opinion about Thermage is divided:
1) Some doctors don't use it properly. The machine is not the limiting factor; it's the person using it. Thermage is very technique sensitive and you have to deliver ENOUGH ENERGY. High energy heads cost more, and some people cut corners here.

Thermage does not work to any significant degree
Please listen to all the doctors who have adivsed you to not spend good money after bad on Thermage. You WILL be disappointed with the results and will only become more dissatisfied with your current situation. Please go to a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and find out what your options are. Your previous doctor was probably not ABPS certified as very few real Plastic Surgeons have bought into Smart lipo since it has never been shown to be better than traditional lipo. Your bad...
