I want a permanent surgical nose job! But first I need to know the pros and cons IF there is one.
Answer: Avoid permanent fillers for nonsurgical nose job Soft tissue fillers can be used in certain situations to correct deformities of the nose. One of the more common uses is to augment the dorsum (enlarge the bridge). There are some deformities of the nose that cannot be corrected or improved by soft tissue fillers. Careful analysis and evaluation of the deformity requiring correction is key. If the problem is that an area is too small, then fillers can be used to add volume and improve the overall appearance. However, if an area is too large or prominent, then addition of fillers around the area to attempt to mask the prominent area will create a nose that is disproportionately large. In this case, rhinoplasty for reduction of the area is more appropriate. There are several important considerations when using soft tissue fillers in the nose to improve safety and prevent both short and long term complications. Use temporary fillers NOT permanent (Silicone, Artecol, Artefill). All synthetic, permanent fillers are fraught with disastrous complications including chronic granulomas and infections that cannot be corrected and cause awful deformities. Use gel fillers NOT particulate (Radiesse, Sculptra). The amount of filler injected at one time must not be excessive as this can cause problems with not only the appearance but also the blood supply. Hyaluronic acid fillers are ideal for injection into the nose as they are temporary (usually last for over 1 year) and gel. Additionally, if too much filler is injected or there are problems with blood flow to the nose, an enzyme (hyaluronidase) can be injected to dissolve the product and reduce the risk of skin loss and scarring. Both Juvederm and Restylane are commonly used hyaluronic acid fillers. If you want a permanent result, then you should also consider rhinoplasty surgery. You should discuss all of your options with your surgeon to decide what best for future treatments.

Answer: Semipermanent Volumizers For Nonsurgical Nose Jobs Are Safer Than Permanent Fillers I have been performing nonsurgical nose jobs for well over a decade. Although permanent fillers, particularly silicone, Bio-Alcamid, and Artefill have all been used for nonsurgical nose jobs, the risks of injecting the skin of the nose with substances that are foreign to the body and which cannot be metabolized or removed by the body's natural breakdown mechanisms are too great. Should the result prove undesirable, there is no good way to remove these materials once injected. Should there be untoward reactions or granulomatous nodules that may develop even ten or twenty years later, there is no consistently effective way to deal with these disfiguring reactions. We routinely go for dental checkups once a year or teeth cleaning twice or even three times a year. It doesn't seem like such a big deal to go for a five or ten minute touch up for a nonsurgical nose once every couple of years--especially when semipermanent volumizing agents are safer and are biodegradable. Consultation with an experienced, board certified aesthetic physician is a must.

Answer: Considerations during nonsurgical rhinoplasty Some surgeons will inject permanent fillers into the nose (such as Silikon 1000, Artefill, etc). Personally, I feel the possible risks outweigh the benefits. As your nose undergoes age related changes, the permanent filler is not likely to undergo the same changes as your natural tissue. The permanent foreign body in your nose also carries the risk of infection and scar formation, which can become extremely problematic because injections of permanent material are difficult to remove.

Answer: #permanent #non_surgical #nosejob HiYes. Some plastic surgeons use silicone injections or artefill for a permanent non-surgical nose job BUT you should avoid that at all costs. Permanent non surgical nosejobs can come with permanent complications such as infections and scar tissue. Do it either with safer HA fillers or dont do it at all. Dont take risks.

Answer: Permanent fillers You should never have permanent fillers injected into your nose. The possible problems far surpass any short term benefits you might get. If you need a correction, save up and have it done by a qualified plastic surgeon.
