Not everyone is a candidate for Fraxel CO 2 laser skin resurfacing. Skin tone, skin type, elasticity, environmental damage, history of smoking and drinking and sun and wind exposure all need to be taken into account, to determine whether you will experience any improvement. Fraxel Restore is a very safe and effective treatment but people who expect it to replace a facelift or get rid of wrinkles as well as an ablative laser treatment ( like Fraxel Repair ) are going to be disappointed. I have never seen it make someone's skin worse. Care does need to be taken on people of color to avoid hyperpigmentation. If you are considering Fraxel Restore make sure you know what it will do and what it won't.
