Certainly sub-mental liposuction (whether laser or not) would be a reasonable choice if you do not have significant amounts of skin as Dr. Seckel and Dr. Law have pointed out - however those would (at least in my opinion) fall under the "surgical" category (even though it is very minor surgery)... more

There are two solutions. Either liposuction of the neck, if there are bands there i use botox there to correct the bands on an older patient. Also, liposuction of the neck and small areas can be done while the patient is awake, which is great to know!

Hi, If you have excess fat under your neck and chin with good skin elasticity, liposuction is a good non-surgical option for you. However, you must have good skin elasticity otherwise you will end up with no fat and loose skin. Best, Dr. S
