I have a porcelain veneer on my lateral incisor, and I've got fake fangs for a costume. The putty that came with them advised that it not be used on veneers, however I can't close my mouth if I put said fangs on my canines. Are there any mild adhesives (only for use for a few hours) that won't cause damage but will stay in place? Or would thermo fit be better?

Veneer cases can last anywhere from 10 to 20 years with the new stronger porcelains and bonding materials. In certain instances we may be able to just replace the selected veneers that require replacing, resulting in a conservative and excellent aesthetic result.
Porcelain veneers could improve upon your situation, but full orthodontics (braces) would be the preferable means of treatment for a desirable result. Good luck.
