What is the Recommended Treatment for Decolonization of Staph Nasal Carriage?

My adult son has chronic furunculosis. One doctor recommended Mupirocin for 5 days. Another recommended all of the following: Mupirocin TID 5 days Fusidic acid TID “ Chlorhexidine 0.1% gargle TID “ Antibacterial Soap daily Rifampin 450-600 mg daily 10 days Azithromycin 500 mg weekly 12 weeks Thank you very much for your assistance.
