Is It True That the More Expensive the LED Pdt Lamp Devices the Better the Product?

I was interested in the photon LED photodynamic lamp machine that are available in the market. I did quite some research about but the prices ranges from couples of hundred to thousand of dollars. All of them have description that claim they can heal acne, pigmentation, wrinkles, scars etc. but i don't know what to choose I always thought the higher the prices the better the product is isn't it.
