What is the Minimum Wait Time to Remove and Replace Brazilian Breast Implants That Don't Look Right? (photo)

I had anatomical implants ten months ago which I loved instantly post op. They then rotated and continued to do so. 3 weeks ago my surgeon replaced them with brazilian round implants Now post op one breast appears much fuller than the other at the top and the nipples are flat and a little sunken. The left side is misshapen and has a lumpy appearance in parts and the nipple is wrinkly and squashed giving it an appearance of half the size of my right one.

While your anxiety about your appearance is appreciated, it is important to understand that doing more surgery too soon (especially, a third procedure) within such a short time period can have very negative effects on your final result. Recovery period after breast implant revision

It is best to wait at least 3 months after the last procedure for most of the swelling/scarring to even out. In most patients especially one that had already undergone a prior operation, this recovery period is even longer. You should discuss this with your surgeon in due time.

Avoid reaching high overhead for the next 6 weeks. Lay on you tummy at night. And paper over all the mirrors until June. Wear a good support bra while upright. I haven't heard of any problems with the quality of implants made in Brazil, just PIP implants made in Marseille... more

Breast revision should wait

Your breasts and implants will continue to change with time. I would recommend waiting at least six months before revision. They may turn out great once the edema decreases and the implants drop into the breast.

Breast revision

At three weeks it is a bit early for you to see the final result. You have to give it a few months. Many of these irregularities should settle out with time. If you are overly concerned, you should check with your surgeon.

Breast Implant Revision

If you recently had surgery and are unhappy with the current result. I would definitely encourage you to visit your surgeon to discuss your appearance. If, however, you cannot visit the surgeon or chose not to visit that surgeon, it would be important for you to be evaluated by someone to evaluate your condition and your implants. With the recent developments regarding certain implants placed outside of the United States, there may be some concern for the integrity of the... more
