Is It the Laser Hair Removal That is Causing my Breakouts? (photo)

It’s been 1 yr since I’ve started laser on my face and neck. I’ve had 8 treatments and for the last 4 I’ve been breaking out in the areas treated. Is this normal? I started vigorously exercising after my 3rd treatment and I was taking a phytoestrogen (peuraria mirfica) between treatment 3 & 4, could these cause breakouts? I’ve noticed the breakouts are very bad before my period & a week after my treatment. I took accutane, but that was 6 years ago.
