Liposuction in Muscular Bodies

The more muscular a person is they often have less fat as they may have a leaner body. The fat is just as accessible as a heavier less toned person but the risk of irregularities and unevenness with its removal may be higher as the subcutaneous fat layer is thinner. And often the more fit individual is a lot more critical of the details of the result.

Of course those who are muscular or have a lean body mass are some of the best candidates for liposuction as any fat that cannot be lost by diet and exercise is easily seen and accurately contoured.

The fat that is treated with liposuction lies just beneath the skin, so it is easily accessible regardless of the amount of muscle present. However, in patients that have visible tone and muscle contour, there may be less fat, and there may be a higher risk of surface irregularities.

Fat is easily accessible in muscular individuals. The issue typically is not accessibility but rather absence of ripples or divets after surgery in that there is less room for error in thin muscular individuals.

It is not the amount of muscle an individual has, but the thickness of the layer of fat covering the muscle that makes this fat more or less amenable to liposuction.  I think that a liposuction result always comes down to the surgeon.   Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.
