What is the Estimated Recovery Period After Seroma Draining?

How long should I expect to be off work after having a seroma drained from my right buttock? This seroma is a result of trauma caused by a bad fall 4 years ago

Recovery after seroma

In this case I would need much more information, do you have buttock implants, etc... I would first refer back to the surgeon who drained the seroma for his/her advice. Not infrequently seromas need to be drained more than once before they resolve completely. Glad to help...RAS

Thank you Dr. Stanton for your response. I've not actually had the seroma drained as of yet as i'm still awaiting my consultation with a surgeon. I do not have implants of any kind, I'm in good health at 41 years old and am of average height and weight for a female. At this pont i'm not certain whether the seroma will be drained or altogether suregically removed, but either way some 'reconstruction' to repair a deformation (indent) to the right buttock is necessary. I m trying to determin roughly how much time off of work I will require for recovery (moreso for the corrective measures) so as I can financially prepare myself being as I will not be receiving any income while off of work. Can you give me any additional comments based on this information please??
