Do Implants Look Smaller After Placement

When patients try on sizers in my office I will tell them that when viewing themselves with implants under a bra the effect will be to make the breasts look larger than when they are compressed under the breast and muscle. The degree of this 'optical illusion' varies from patient to patient. It might be as low as 25 cc's or as much as 75 cc's. I suspect this is what he was referring to. Best of Luck Dr Harrell
