What is the Best Way to Cure my Open Wound?

I had my tummy tuck 3 weeks ago. After they removed my stitches the wound oppened a lil. I want to know the best way to cure it so it can close and not get infected. My doctor told me to wash it water and soap, dry it and then put iodine. My wound is not covered. Thanks

Open wound

What your surgeon suggests sounds appropriate. I would take the recommendation of the surgeon who has seen the wound over any I could give without even seeing a photo. These do always heal. Best wishes.
