What would be the Cost of chin shortened? (photo)

I'm 20 years old and thinking about turning to surgery to shorten chin, what would be the average cost for this to be done and what happens after the operation is finished?

A reduction genioplasty is about $5K and the anesthesia is about $1,200.  Oral and Max surgeons, Facial Plastic Surgeons and Plastic surgeons are a good place to seek evaluation.

Chin Shortening

The cost of chin surgery varies all over the country.  A good place to start is the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) for a list of Board Certified Surgeons in your area.  Schedule an exam to discuss your options.  You will have a surgeons fee, operating room fee, and anesthesia fee.  This is usually discussed at the consultation.  Best wishes!

you can shorten the chin/and set it back a bit; but it appears that your lower front teeth are quite upright and not supporting the lower lip ideally. This makes the chin appear 'stronger'. make sure you evaluate that aspect as well; to ensure you achieve your goal
