What Would Be the Best Chemical Peel for Yellow/brown Indian Skin?

Hi, i am a 23yr old Indian female, i'm yellowish/brown in complexion but there are certain parts of my body that are darker in color than the rest (from my lower back extending to my upper thigh on the posterior aspect). I was considering a chemical peel, but i'm unsure if this will work, and if it would, what peal would you recommend and at what percent? Or is there anything better for me to consider? or nothing at all? Thanks.
