Oily Skin Treated with ablative CO2 lasers may heal with larger pores.
When an fractional ablative CO2 or Erbium laser is used on oily skin the oil will seep into the lasers holes during the healing process and prevent the laser holes from healing properly. This is the reason the skin may look more porous following ablative CO2 laser treatment than before treatment.
