I am a 60 yr old female and I would like to know if I have to take Medrol after a neck lift. I have Osteoporosis and read that it may worsen brittle bones. Would it be okay to refuse this medication or is there another one with less side effects? Thank you

Thank you for your question. The tightness does fade after a week or so. The swelling unfortunately goes the way of gravity, and winds up in the neck. This tends to pass in a couple of weeks, and faster if you wear a compression garment around the chin/neck area. I hope this helps.
