Different Technique Needed for Fat Transfer to Breasts and Butt?

For those plastic surgeons who do regular fat transfer, the technique of fat liposuction and processing is the same for both procedures.  However, the technique of fat transfer as droplets in different layers of breast is different than that of the butt.  Also, some prefer breast stretching with a device known as Brava beofre hand.  This may not be needed for those who have had post-pregnancy breast volume loss.

The use of fat transfer to the breast is a new procedure with a variety of suggested techniques of which no superior method has been demonstrated. The primary difference between this an buttock augmentation is the placement of the fat. In the buttock, it is primarily into the muscle whereas in the breast the muscle does not play as great a role.
