For darker pigmented skin such as olive skin, one should avoid TCA chemical peel of strength significantly greater than 35% on the face as there may be a nontrivial risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation. You may be able to prevent post-treatment pigmentation by pre-treating the face with topical retinoid and hydroquinone and perhaps post-operatively as well once the skin has re-epithelialized.
