I had a 20% TCA peel done yesterday at a Cosmotologist. She applied a lot of layers since I could hardly feel it. Eventually it did burn, but it wasn't painful. Today, apart from being a little tight, the skin looks totally normal. No redness, no swelling, nothing. Is it possible that 5-6 layers of 20% TCA could do nothing? (I've used tretinoid cream for years btw & done 50% glycolic acid peels at home, with no flaking). Also, I've been washing my face gently twice a day. Is that a bad idea?
