After having a TCA 18% peel, should one be concerned if no flaking or peeling occurs by the thrid or fourth day? If so, is it because a stronger peel (phenol) needs to be used or was the product outdated? How soon after one treatment of 18% can a phenol peel be introduced?
TCA 18%. Are Flaking and Peeling Common?

TCA peels are an excellent choice for treating discolorations. Peeling and flaking are common afterwards. I would not recommend a phenol peel anytime following a TCA peel. None of these peels should be done at home.
