Airbrush Tattoo on Dark-skinned Person for Hyperpigmented Scar?
If a dark-skinned person has hyperpigmentation from scarring (no raised scars present), is it possible to get a tattoo (just the airbrush part) to coverup the marks? No one would see the tattoo, its sole purpose would be to conceal the scar.

Dear Juneberkley,
You could get a skin tone tattoo to cover up the hyperpigmentation, but you would really have to make sure the tattoo artist matches your underlying skin tone. Have you tried any lightening agents or chemical peeling in combination with topicals? That would be my first choice before trying a tattoo. There are also excellent cosmetics out there that can help you blend in this scar with your background skin. One brand I recommend is Dermablend.
