Will Taping My Nose Help My Rhinoplasty Result?

I'm 3 weeks post-op and am still taping my nose as I fear that the bump I had on my nose will reappear. This happened to me after my first rhinoplasty. Will taping my nose keep it from going back to it's original shape?

Taping nose after rhinoplasty

I don't personally have my patients use tape or splints past the first week or so. I would see what your surgeon reccomends and then follow those instructions to get the best result
