Has anyone had the Lifestyle Lift in Tampa, FL? I've heard about Ft Lauderdale LSL but not enough about Tampa LSL. Please let me know. Anyone know how much this procedure costs?
My LSL was a little over 2 years ago with Dr. {edited} in Tampa. I picked him because he is Board Certified and past president of the medical society. Sounded good.
Recovery time was weeks, not days, and with significant swelling. The novocaine injections weren't fun but tolerable. The shortened earlobes have stretched back to almost normal. Overall, the results looked good, definitely better now than before, with all of the excess skin gone.
But--- My cheeks, jawline, and neck still feel uncomfortably tight. I am very unhappy about the LSL procedure of tightening of the underlying tissues. If they would just remove the excess skin, I think the procedure would be a winner. Yes, you would have to have it done every few years, that's gravity. And I wouldn't hesitate, except I would rather be saggy than uncomfortable. There is no way I will ever have this procedure again.

My LSL was done the first time by Dr {edited}. It was terrible. He tried to correct the proceedure one time, but it did not work. They told me he left the Tampa office. Dr {edited} did the third proceedure on me. The experience was good. He was very kind, but so far he has been unable to correct the mess up on my ears. They look terrible and behind one ear it looks like it is gathered like a piece of material. The ears do look better than they did before, but I am really not at all happy. I would not want to do this again. I live 2 hours from Tampa and I am having to travel back and forth. The office has been very good about not charging me for any future surgery. They tell me they want me to be happy. I hope it all works out in the end.

IT WILL BE TWO YEARS COME MARCH. GOOD AT FIRST LASTED ABOUT A YEAR THEN SAGGING NECK AGAIN. NOT WORTH $3700. THE TAMPA OFFICE HAS CHANGED DOCTORS SEVERAL TIMES. NO ADS SHOW THE PEOPLE A YEAR LATER. SAVE YOUR YOUR MONEY.
Hi Rose...my name is Jerry. I'm a 59 y.o. Tampa male (60 next month). I received the LifeStyle literature about 6 months ago but have not yet scheduled my consultation...wanted to learn more about the procedure first. Just found this website and like you I have an awful "doolap" (Turkey Neck) which I am very self conscious about...I think it makes me look 10 yrs. older than I am. Although people think I'm 48-52 (just being kind I think) I hate the way it looks...not a confidence builder
I am very encouraged by your post, notwithstanding other negative posts, and am hoping you could provide the name of the Dr. who performed your lift. What surgery was involved to remove the "turkey neck" look? Are you as pleased today as you were when you posted in August of '07? Is the Dr. board certified? Can I ask how much it cost?
Thank you in advance Rose...looking forward to your reply,
Jerry
Hi all,
I, too, am trying to research plastic surgeons in the Tampa Bay area. I think I will need a lifestyle lift as well as cheek implants or fat transfer. I would appreciate surgeon recommendations if anyone has the time.
Thank you, Kim
Has anyone had the lifestyle lift procedure done in the Ft Lauderdale or Pompano area? I understand the right doctor makes the difference and would love to hear feedback from someone around here.

Noone gives the Dr.'s name that they saw? I had a consultation with Dr. Castellano. Any feedback on him?
