The collagen produced a very bottom heavy face and I'm not very old, but due to the placement my face still remains puffy and bottom heavy. Is there any way to break this down? I used a board certified plastic surgeon.
Answer: Sculptra Collagen does last a long time, but your face will undergo aging and lose collagen. A photo would help to suggest options to rebalance the bottom heavy look. Example Botox in the masseter region can help narrow the outer lower face, Perlane/Volume in the cheeks can bring more width to the midface.

Answer: Sculptra and Collagen Development I suggest Thermage and venus legacy treatments to help tighten the tissue and improve the swelling/laxity. Answer: Bottom heavy face 2 years after Sculptra I have seen results from Sculptra last 2-4 years, but it generally does eventually go away. It is important, when treating the face with Sculptra, not to place the product too low because you can get the bottom heavy face that you describe. Hyaluraonidase will not break Sculptra down. It is possible that 5-FU or a steroid injection could help in some patients.

The simple answer is that collagen produced by Collagen takes time to be broken down by the body, hence the necessity of seeing an experienced injector to begin with. Sculptra is best injected in a manner that emphasize the upper cheek area as opposed to the lower face. At this point,some form of lfting procedure might be most appropriate.

Answer: Does Sculptra collagen ever leave? It's been 2 years since I had 4 vials spread out over the course of 3 months. You still need to be seen in person... I might try hyalurondiase dissolver injections...............
