He fooled around for a while removing some "stubborn cement" on that tooth and I think he chipped the veneer in the process. My question being, will this cause the veneer to pop off because now liquids have a chance to reach the cement and eat away at it? It's not noticeable at all, so I don't care from an aesthetic standpoint. I'm more worried about the longevity of this tooth that I just spent quite a bit of money on.

Just decide whether u want to go with veneers or not. post results will look like a natural teeth only. so u can go for any no of teeth , but u will get excellent results in canine to canine case. because in that all anteriors will look same and perfect.
