Typically, 1- to 2-ml of hyaluronic acid filler is sufficient to lift the corners of the mouth in a middle age woman.

Typically, 1- to 2-ml of hyaluronic acid (HA) filler is sufficient to lift the corners of the mouth in a middle age woman. HA fillers are the preferred choice to work the corners of the mouth because of their smooth results, with virtually no allergic reactions or bumpiness. For mild volume loss in a younger patient, Restylane or Juvederm ultra are good choices, whereas in older patients with more volume loss Perlane or Juvederm Ultea Plus will be better choices. (Keep in mind that for the very fine peri-oral lines -around the mouth-, Belotero is a new HA filler with superior results.)

Depends how deep the lines are.

The volume of filler depends on the location and degree of hollow. I am always extremely careful not to over-do the "correction" as the results can be very un-natural. A hyluronic acid filler works very well for lines around the lips. There can be some bruising and swelling for a couple of days associated with any kind of injectable agents.

How many syringes of filler for 2 lines around the mouth

Although it is difficult to answer your question without a photo, I will try to give you some ideas. If the lines are shallow, then you may be happy with Belotero- a hyaluronic acid filler that can be injected for very fine lines and wrinkles. If the lines are deeper, you may better off with Juvederm Ultra or Ultra Plus, as these huyaluronic acid fillers give a natural correction in this area, and are typically injected at a deeper level. Good luck.

Juvederm for full correction

We elect to treat patients with Juvederm for a variety of reasons. One characteristic that sets Juvéderm® apart from other hyaluronic facial injections is that Juvéderm® has been clinically proven to be an effective treatment for patients of all skin types and colors. Another is that the minerals contained in Juvéderm® gels are not suspended particles in the gel formula. Using an innovative new manufacturing process, the company that produces Juvéderm® has been able to invent a gel formula that is smooth and homogeneous, creating more natural cosmetic results and longer lasting benefits. The effects of a Juvéderm® treatment usually last for about 6 to 9 months. Typically, one or two syringes is needed for full correction.

Tough to say without seeing a picture, but

generally depending on the depth of the crease somewhere between 1-3 units of a filler should dramatically improve the area...with 1-2 probably being the most typical number...but you really need to see your doctor to discuss...might be that you just need some just under the outer portion of your eyes to lift your cheek rather into the lines closer to your mouth

Without a photo provided I can’t determine how many syringes you would benefit from, Its best you seek a reputable physician for an in-person evaluation
