What Are the Symptoms of Mentaphyma?

Mentaphyma is caused by severe rosacea. It has the same clinical appearance as rhinophyma, except in this case it is on the chin. Thus, one gets a knobby, reddened chin. Most patients with mentaphyma also have rhinophyma. Aggressive oral therapy with antibiotics and sometimes Accutane may need to be used. Of course, if Accutane is used, then you must wait a year before any laser treatment.
