I am 20 year old male with a disconcerting case of enophthalmos that did not exist in my early childhood. When I was around 12 or 13, I sustained significant injury to the left side of my face which produced significant swelling and bruising. Since then, the asymmetry of my eyes and nose has caused me to avoid photographs - 8 years on I now suspect that I suffered an untreated orbital floor fracture. Could an oculoplastic surgeon to provide any symmetrical correction at this very late stage?
