Swelling and Redness After IPL?

You should not be having symptoms of persistent swelling and redness two days after treatment with IPL alone. You should also not have areas which appear to be scabbing over. Without a photograph it is difficult to see how much damage was done. My suggestion would be to return to the deermatologist or plastic surgeon ( or their office) who performed the procedure. They can utilize a couple of Gentle Waves treatments which will help the healing. In addtion, I would recommend Biafine which was originally developed in France for radiation burns.
