Swelling and Red Bumps/ Blisters After Electrolysis. Is This a Normal Side Effect?

My electrologist claims to be a licensed electrologist and practicing for 10 years, but I'm concerned about the side effects as they seem much worse than she warned me they would be. The swelling is so bad it looks like I was punched in the chin and there are red welts were treatment was done. It would be easy to say "find a new electrologist" but there aren't many certified ones in my area. Any info would be greatly appreciated before I travel out of my way to find a new electrologist. Thanks!

I had the same reaction after my first one hour treatment on my chin, I was not told to expect anything like this. After five days it looks like 50 bug bites on one side of my chin, little scabs and holes.
