Will the Swelling Go Down and Will I Ever Look Like I Did Right After Surgery?

I had gyno and lipo 5 weeks ago, at first the results were great. I began to work out after about two weeks and now I am huge! I am so swollen, I look like I did pre-op. Will the swelling go down and will I ever look like I did right after surgery?

Complication of Gynecomastia (Gyno, Man Boob) Surgery

The timeline you describe is worrisome. Having surgery, doing well followed by huge amount of "swelling" is rarely if ever "normal". The fact you exercised before the swelling appeared suggests you formed a fluid collection (seroma) or blood collection (hematoma) both of which would need to be evacuated. Please, see your Plastic surgeon as soon as possible. Dr. Aldea

Exercise and physical activity should be gradually resumed after a rest period of... more

Revisit with your Surgeon

Maybe you have a seroma.  You should be reevaluated by your surgeon.  You may need drainage and extended use of a compression garment. Dr. ES

Swelling after lipsosuction

After combined procedures, it is quite possible that exercise contributed to severe swellling, but you should be examined by your surgeon to ensure that there is no complicaton.

Massive swelling after gyno & lipo should be evaluated

I agree with Dr. Aldea. Your description suspicious for having formed either a seroma or hematoma. Discuss this with your surgeon asap. see video
