Non Surgical Choices for Lipoma Removal or Reduction?
My mom has lipomas under the skin on her arms and legs. Her dermatologist said they would have to be surgically removed but she would have scarring. Are there other options that might help her that are non surgical. Thank you!

Another option is liposuction. However, this depends on many factors i.e., how large the lipomas are, exactly where they are located etc . Liposuction is less invasive and will leave less scarring. A large caveat with this, though, is that most insurance carriers will not cover a procedure where the word liposuction is involved, even though removal of a lipoma is a legitimate medical procedure.
