Surgery for Bone Fracture Around the Eye?

In another question i asked about what I should do with my eye and I've been told that my left eye is being a little lower than the other because of a bone fracture. And if that is the case, I would like to know a little about the operation. Is it a difficult surgery for the surgeon? How about other people going through the same surgery, are they satisfied? How about swelling? Working? Studying? Scars? The risks? I just want to know everything that is important. (The symmetri is not big)
