Breast surgery revision

There is a National Law that states that any insurance which covers mastectomy for breast cancer must cover reconstruction and that includes revisions! Good luck!

Coverage for reconstruction

Medicare does not give pre-authorization but Cancer reconstruction and revisions are usually covered.

Reconstruction following breast cancer is always a covered benefit

Reconstructino following breast cancer is always a covered benefit. Although there is no way to obtain a pre-authorization for surgery with Medicare, it should certainly be covered.

Yes all breast reconstruction and surgery on the oppsite breast is covered by ALL insurance companies. Revisions and any further surgeries are all covered. FEDERAL MANDATE
