Subfascial Buttock Implants Recovery Time vs Intramuscular?

I have decided that subfascial is my choice as far as placement goes. I have very elastic strong/ non sagging skin and I have been relatively the same size since teenage years apar from two pregnancies which are not even traceable. I am 5'5' about 115 and at 25, I am in good health. I am looking for a LOT of projection and I am not sure what my recovery will be like compared to intramuscular which has a reputation for being more painful with a longer recovery. Is this true? What will I experience as far as post operatively goes?

There is probably less pain with the subfascial technique.   Most plastic surgeons will place them in an intramuscular position to reduce complications.

Buttock implants - subfascial or intramuscular?

This is a very interesting question. Literature and experience show that subfascial buttock implants have an increased long term risk of complications including fluid collection, able to feel the implant, and double bubble. Difference in recovery is not significantly different, about 2 weeks. I believe the intramuscular approach is better for the patient, although the surgeon must be experienced.
