Does Stretching the Skin Make Fraxel Repair More Accessible?

I have many ice pick and boxcar scars. Most are about 2-3mm wide and deep. I've found stretching the skin makes the scars wider and shallower. Will stretching the skin during a fraxel repair treatment make the scars more accessible and easier to treat? I was also hoping to have a second fraxel repair 5 weeks later at the highest setting. If I convinced a doctor, do you think they would be willing to do a second treatment so soon?
